Engagement

Using AR exhibits supports immersion in the real world.

VR can lead to detachment.

our mission

peopleonblue.png

Our mission is to connect people with important places, raising awareness of precious natural environments or sites of cultural and historical significance. This is based on years of research into public engagement and the impact of proximity and accessibility at the University of Brighton.

We provide exhibits, trails and interpretive boards that use augmented reality (AR), to reveal compelling media and games in the locations people visit.

This makes content accessible, diversifies audiences, deepens understanding and increases immersion in your space to establish a lasting connection. Typical themes include:

who
and
   why ?

Councils, landowners, educators, farmers, anyone who manages, tourist attractions, events, campaigns and recreational or educational facilities (the list is endless) will benefit from the interactive video and animation in our exhibits to:

  • Reach wider and more diverse audiences.

  • Deliver inclusive media in the places people visit.

  • Increase footfall and visitor engagement within natural and heritage spaces.

  • Diversify income through tourism and events.

  • Encourage younger people to engage with your site or cause.

  • Provide alternatives to expensive outdoor amenities at reasonable cost.

  • Deliver your videos on location to make them more relevant.

  • Support connection with and immersion in a place through enjoyable experiences.

  • Make interpretive boards more compelling, engaging younger people and including those with sight impairment.

  • Encourage behaviour change, raising awareness of the impact of our actions.
